Muse Boutique

Our boutique was founded by a local artist and a clothing designer in 1998. We named the shop “Muse” after the ancient goddess of creativity and inspiration– a natural fit for a boutique in an artist colony. We originally envisioned the new shop fulfilling the desires of the artistic, creative, casual, and free-spirited women of Laguna Beach.
The Muse woman is far more concerned with expressing her creative and artistic uniqueness than blending in. She loves nature. She enjoys a fun, outdoor lifestyle and she takes very good care of herself, eating right and working out. She always wants to look her best even during her casual time. She has an easy-going confidence in herself that allows her to wear what she likes, to express herself in her own creative way. She is a trend setter, not by design, but because her unique look inspires others.
To fulfill her needs, Muse Boutique’s apparel and accessories has to be fun, artistic, colorful, even whimsical. They have to stand out from the ordinary the same way the eclectic pieces in the Laguna art galleries catch and amuse the viewer’s eye. And everything has to be good quality and have great value. Because we always focus on our own unique artistic vision, rather than follow popular trends, we earned a reputation for picking the best of the new designers.
