Mountain bikes are popular in this park with trails for beginners and advanced. Length of this trail is 8 total miles with a 600 foot elevation gain.
The abstract works of Southern California artists are featured along the walls of the Sandstone Gallery, the oldest gallery on historic Gallery Row, founded in 1981. Behind the shingles that adorn the gallery’s exterior, 10 featured artists show works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, monotype, pastels, sculptures and digital media.

Hiking Mathis Canyon Trail from West Ridge into Wood Canyon is a stunning way to enter Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park. Open by appointment only, the Mandalas gallery features the art of Paul Heussenstamm, who focuses his creative energies on the spiritual symbols of mandalas (meaning circles or centers). Mandalas carry different meanings, from aiding in focus or meditation to being tools in spiritual education.
Artist Martin Robert’s and nature/scenery photography Dan Witte’s one-of-a-kind pieces adorn the walls of the Martin Roberts Gallery. While Dan focuses on photography alone, Martin’s artistic creations begin with black and white photographs and then undergo and extensive process during which acrylics, oils and watercolor paints to result in a detailed, 3-D mixed media piece.
Known as both Studio Arts Laguna and John Barber Glass Designs, this location doubles as both a studio space and gallery to display artistic glass designs. John honed his skills in glassblowing in Germany, where he attended glass design school and apprenticed under acclaimed master artists. He now has tumblers, stemware, vases, ornaments, sculptures and more on display and for sale in the gallery.
