Opened in December of 1994. Created by the husband and wife team of Jonathan & Maria Thomas, OCEAN AVENUE is a redefinition of the traditional brewpub concept. If not for the gleaming copper tanks behind the bar, you might not suspect that OCEAN AVENUE is, in fact, a brewpub. The tastefully muted decor, accented by original works of art and unique floral arrangements provide a comfortable, yet unpretentious atmosphere for dining.
The restaurant and brewery features fare such as burgers, pastas, and pizzas as well as a selection of Ocean Avenue craft brews, classical and inventive cocktails, and wines. The restaurant also brings in disc jockeys on Friday and Saturday nights after 9:30 p.m. for a lively evening on the town.
