Deer Canyon

Deer Canyon Loop (7.1 miles). This trail is categorized as moderate to strenuous skill level. This trail route is a loop along the west edge of Crystal Cove’s backcountry with high ridges and valleys. Note there is little shade with beautiful views. Length of this trail is 4 hours and covering 7.1 total miles. Hikers have the option of staying overnight at the Deer Canyon’s trail camp, located near the halfway point of the loop. Best season to enjoy this trail is October through May.
